Personal
I've lived in Billings for several years, but was born and raised in a small town in Northwestern Illinois. After living in several states (and even Italy), Billings is my favorite of them all! My youth was filled with extra-curricular activities and organization centered around school, music and athletics. I graduated from University of Kansas with a Bachelors of Science in Architectural Engineering.
Current hobbies of mine include spending time with friends and family, dance, traveling, and volunteering with various professional organizations.
On a more civic note, I am a member of the Billings Area Chamber of Commerce, a volunteer with the Business Expansion And Retention Program (BEAR...assisting local businesses move forward successfully), part of the Redevelopment Task Force through the EDC, a member of a Tax Reform Committee & a member/investor & board member for the Big Sky Economic Development Corporation (serving the greater Billings area). I am also a 2007 graduate of Leadership Billings (a program sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce).
My husband Matt and I enjoy living in the downtown area with our two adorable (but noisy) furry & four-legged children, Maggie May and Zoe (rescued mutts). |
